On behalf of an international organisation based in the surroundings of Lausanne, we are searching for a

Head of Facilities Management

Responsible the security, maintenance and services of the buildings and grounds

Beschreibung der Mission

  • You develop a facility management strategy ensuring optimal functioning of the facilities and its assets
  • You prepare annual budget, forecast and schedule expenditure
  • You ensure high standards in health and safety (fire protection, access control, surveillance)
  • You develop and manage a comprehensive maintenance programme of the school's buildings, outdoor facilities and associated equipment
  • You ensure the facilities fully comply with applicable regulations
  • You maintain up-to-date processes and documentation on the buildings and technical installations
  • You carry out risk analysis and ensure regular quality checks
  • You coordinate and lead partnerships with external providers 
  • You manage procurement process (tenders, contract negotiations, maintenance contracts)
  • You plan and optimise space allocation and furniture management
  • You perform regular cost analysis, review energy and utilities consumption to optimise costs
  • You manage large capital projects (building renovations / refurbishments)
  • You lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of three facility techniciens


Erwartetes Profil

  • FM Diploma or equivalent education (EHS, MSST)
  • At least 5 years' experience in facility management (in-house) with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership position
  • Technical know-how and understanding of building technology
  • Fluent in English (C1) and French
  • Excellent analytical, planning and organisational skills (incl. project management)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer service orientation
  • Proficient in MS Office with an emphasis on Excel
